Evidencing return on investment and helping to demonstrate the quality, value and impact of a library and learning resources service in support of the wider teaching, learning and student experience agenda is crucial in today’s environment.

CoLRiC’s Quality Assurance (QA) Framework comprises two self-assessment documents that are free to all member Colleges and will enable you to evaluate your library and learning resources service against a set of specific criteria so that you can reflect on your strengths, contemplate weaknesses, engage the College community and raise the visibility of the library to senior college management.

Adopting the CoLRiC QA Framework offers many benefits, encouraging self-reflection, enhancing the profile of the library and learning resources service, and enabling colleagues to network and share their experiences. It will help you to:

• Initiate a comprehensive evaluation of your service within the context of the resources at your disposal
• Consider how effectively and consistently your college supports the development of its library and learning resource service.
• Identify gaps in service provision

How does CoLRiC’s QA Framework work?

There are two stages to CoLRiC’s QA Framework a) register for our free self-assessment documents and b) consider an optional informal virtual professional discussion with our QA panel and your Head of Service, deputy or equivalent.
